Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OnChainToday (“OCT,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, APIs, agent interfaces, and related services (the “Platform”).

1. Data we collect

• Account data: first name, email, country of residence, and additional profile fields when you elevate access.
• Transaction data: offers, purchase intents, buyer transfer packets, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and chain selections.
• Technical data: IP address, user agent, client kind (human/agent signals), device/browser metadata, cookies, and logs for security and reliability.
• Communications: messages you send via forms or support channels.

2. How we use data

We use information to operate the marketplace, verify payments, complete transfers, provide tokenization and agent features, prevent fraud/abuse, comply with law, improve the Platform, and communicate about transactions.

3. Sharing

We may share data with infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting, auth, analytics), payment and blockchain infrastructure, professional advisors, affiliates within Coalesce Keiretsu for legitimate operational purposes (including Bridge/ops and GIV DAO gift and allocation records), and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information.

GIV DAO: Giving to GIV DAO is optional. A gift may be linked to your account details, and it is greatly appreciated. GIV DAO is not a tax-exempt charity under IRC 501(c)(3), and gifts to it are not tax-deductible.

4. International transfers & retention

Data may be processed in multiple jurisdictions with appropriate safeguards. We retain information as needed for transactions, legal obligations, disputes, and security, then delete or anonymize when no longer required.

5. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to risk, including access controls, encryption in transit, audit logging, and authorized operator gates. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. A formal Security Sweep Protocol is maintained and evolves with Platform scale.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact privacy@onchaintoday.com (or successor address). You may also withdraw marketing consent where applicable. Some data must be retained for legal or transactional integrity.

7. Cookies & agents

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, and may use limited analytics. Automated agents should identify themselves responsibly; we may log client kind for capacity planning and abuse prevention. Public display of aggregate agent metrics, if any, is controlled by OCT.

8. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 16 (or higher age where required).

9. Changes

We may update this Policy for legal or product evolution. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.

Fan names

Fan names. Some handles and domains on OCT are fan names that refer to people, characters, brands or companies. They are offered as name strings for fans only. OCT and its sellers are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any named person, brand or company, and a purchase gives no right to use any trademark or likeness. OCT is not affiliated with and does not represent any company or person that may share all or part of any domain or handle sold here.

Takedown requests

If you believe a listing infringes your rights, contact Support@OnChainToday.com with the listing, your rights and your contact details. We review requests promptly and may remove a listing from public sale.

If a listing you bought is removed or cannot be delivered because of a rights claim, you may choose either a full refund of what you paid or a coupon for 50% off a future OCT purchase.

Removal from public sale does not change on-chain ownership of a handle already transferred to you. A handle OCT still holds for delivery is not transferred after removal; you choose the refund or the coupon instead.

Refunds are made in the same asset and amount you paid, whatever its price at the time of refund. If a rights claim removes a Lease-to-Own listing, we refund every payment you made, in kind, to the paying wallet, and the lease ends with no further payments owed. If the coupon expires unused, you can still ask for a refund within 30 days of expiry. OCT pays the refund network fee.
